PUFFIN

Puffins can be seen at Flamborough Head when they
are nesting, then they go out to sea for the rest of the
summer. We did manage to see a couple when we
were there in June, even though the weather was so
bad and we were lucky to see any at all. But they are such
cute and comical birds.

This will have to be the last for a week or two as my scanner has gone on the blink. I think the bulb has gone and since we leave for three weeks in the UK pretty soon, I'm not sure I'll have time to get it fixed. But I'll be back for sure! Wild English Primrose. My favorite wild flower,
along with the snowdrop, but don't think I can
draw snowdrops.



Harebells. They are on such fragile stems that
they really do bend over like this, especially in
the wind.
